Social Insurance – Is the End in Sight?
Bob LaBree, with Kaplan Financial Education, will be our featured speaker at the September 11th, 2017 TCIC class. The OBJECTIVE of this class is to help students understand the basics of Social Security and Medicare, become familiar with Trustees’ reports, and learn some recommendations for the preserving benefits in the future.
Medicare is a single-payer, national social insurance program administered by the U.S. federal government since 1966. Learn how Medicare is ran and what it provides insurance for approximately 46 million Americans ages 65 and older while also providing health insurance to younger people. How we can help our clients understand Medicare and also what might needs to be added to make sure they are covered in addition to Medicare. We look forward to using this class as a way of getting our arms around the foundation of an ever-evolving and difficult to navigate topic.
